Crushed Concrete
Recycled concrete is created by breaking, removing, and crushing existing concrete to a preferred size. It is commonly used as a base layer for other construction materials because it compacts to form a firm surface. One of our biggest selling aggregates is the 40mm Type 1 crushed concrete. This type of aggregate is suitable for patio bases, hard standings, paths and drive-ways. It is an easily compacted aggregate with sizes ranging from 40mm all the way down to dust. We can supply this recycled crushed concrete loose by the tonne, by a full load, or if you prefer we offer them in aggregate bags which are available to the Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and surrounding areas.
Our crushed concrete is very popular because it is of a high quality, which we take great pride in, it comes in a range of sizes including 40mm down to dust and 60-40 crushed with no fines. This can be used for capping and building up levels for roadways, drive-ways and temporary roads.

Topsoil
Our range of topsoils are sourced and produced to the highest standards. It is screened to remove lumps and stones. By doing this it is made easier to handle and rake. All our materials are sourced sustainably.
There are many different types of topsoil throughout the, top soil type can vary dramatically over a just a small distance, so your topsoil may be quite different to the soil on the other side of your village or even road. There are three main types of soils – Clay Soil, Sandy Soil and Silty Soils. The main things that effect the type of soil in an area are the bedrock beneath your garden and the history of the site. Many soils have been moved around the country hundreds of years ago, not by man but by glacial movement. The ice sheets and rivers of the glacial age moved, mixed and deposited topsoils all over.
